NVIP promotes the use of vehicle identification technology and provides rewards for information that helps solve auto theft crimes.

NVIP will pay $1,000 to anyone providing information that results in the recovery of an NVIP-registered vehicle and the conviction of the thief. Non cash rewards are available to citizens who help to recover stolen vehicles without a conviction of a car thief.

In the event that a vehicle registered with NVIP is ever stolen, it is automatically submitted to StolenCarReports.com Email and SMS alerts will be transmitted to registered Tippers in the area where your car was stolen.
